On Monday 22 September, 178 NSW children living with cancer climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of their final resilience-building camp experience with Camp Quality.
A 7-year-old girl with cancer has started a whole new craze after Australia’s social media community was inspired by her creative response to being bullied for losing her hair. #tighthairdo is the first campaign of its kind to have started in Australia.
At the recent Child Life Therapy Conference, Camp Quality was awarded a Certificate of Honorary Lifetime Membership from the Association of Child Life Therapists Australia in recognition of our invaluable and ongoing support of the child life therapy profession.
On Wednesday 24 September an amazing and emotional role reversal took place: 178 children living with cancer aged 13 - 18 were treated as celebrities by celebrities themselves as part of a surprise for their final Camp Quality camp.
Camp Quality has once again been ranked as Australia’s most trusted children’s charity in the AMR Charity Reputation Index.
On Thursday 7 May, Australia’s biggest dinner party will bring together more than 1,800 charity-minded people across 150 of Australia’s finest restaurants in five cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra.
We’re nothing without our vollies. They outnumber our paid staff by 23:1! This mean more donated funds can go directly to where they’re most needed: to our kids. But we urgently need more volunteers to help us out.
